D.G. Jones & Partners was founded in 1962 by Donald G. Jones, FRICS. The practice is now organised on a corporate basis with the parent company registered in Cyprus and with 30 offices in Europe, the Middle East, the U.S., Africa, the Far East, South East Asia and Australia. Having offices established in five continents, it has become one of the most widespread practices specializing in construction cost control and quantity surveying outside the United Kingdom employing more than 250 professional staff plus legal, accounting and secretarial services.

The majority of services provided are those normally associated with the quantity surveying profession not only on general construction work but also heavy engineering and agricultural projects. In addition, the practice has now successfully undertaken project/construction management and arbitration services for its clients on a number of important projects.

All offices work to the same high standards and use well established procedures to meet the particular requirements of the construction industry appropriate to the country.

Continued demand for complementary services has resulted in separate associated companies being formed to specialise in providing quantity surveying services to contractors and also ground and aerial land surveying services.

The practice offers services to owners directly and also to architects and civil, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering consultants, both internationally and locally. Resulting from its long experience internationally and the detailed knowledge of construction costs, contractors and local conditions acquired by each of the various offices, the practice is often called upon to provide advice to Government and Municipal departments, financial institutions and developers.

The practice has a policy of sponsoring suitably educated students at colleges in the U.K. and as a result now employs professionally qualified Australian, Bahraini, British, Chinese, Iraqi, Cypriot, Jordanian, Kenyan, Lebanese, Malaysian and Sri Lankan surveyors.

The practice has been responsible for the official Arabic translation of the R.I.C.S. Principles of Measurement International (POMI) and the Arabic translation of the International Conditions of Contract for Works of Civil Engineering Construction for the International Federation of Consulting Engineers - (FIDIC).

The wealth of experience gained world-wide over many years together with the close co-ordination and communication between its offices and personnel enables D.G.
