International College - Beirut
International College is the first LEED School in Lebanon to be certified as Gold rated LEED School by USGBC. DGJones & Partners, as the Project Manager, succeeded to achieve and maintain the LEED credits for the design and construction phases as originally planned. Moreover, DGJones & Partners succeeded to manage this prestigious school with ZERO claims from both parties of the Contract and limited the Variations to less than 0.2% of the total construction cost while maintaining the quality and integrity of the Works. The Project was handed over to the Client in December 2012. Total Built-up Area ≈ 20,000 m² Total Cost = US$ 23,765,000 Time for Completion = 18-20 Months (2 parts)
Lebanese American University - Byblos Campus
We have been lately awarded two capital projects at LAU Byblos Campus. - The Library and Central Administration Building, a state of the art building designed to house the library of the Byblos Campus including stacks, reading areas, carrels, conference rooms, president and vice president’s offices, board meeting rooms, gallery, etc… with a total built up area of 7,000m2. The lead consultant is Pagnamenta Torriani Architects Planners and the local consultant is Rafik Khoury. The project duration including design and construction phases is 3 years. The allocated budget is 16M. - The Engineering Labs and Workshops, a building housing the different Engineering labs such as civil, electrical , mechanical, industrial, chemical, etc… together with deans’ quarters and offices, with a total built up area of 8,400m2. The Consultant is Khatib & Alami. The project duration including design and construction phases is 3 years. The allocated budget is 19M.
